SKILLS USA Practice test time!
December is the month for any student who wishes to take an online practice test for the January test which is used to score and rank students based on knowledge for the State Conference March 29th.
Epi-Pen Protocol
Parents and guardians are responsible for supplying Epi-Pens for their children who require them at school. Please do not rely on the school’s very limited stock of Epi-Pens. The FDA issued a ruling that allowed Epi-Pens produced in certain lots to be used four months beyond their expiration date. If you have supplied an Epi-Pen to the school, please be sure it is covered by the extended expiration date.
Stockings for Soldiers
This was ATAG's first year helping Soldiers Angels with their Christmas stocking drive and Sherry Zhumi led the charge. Thanks to your donations we were able to do this. Thank you everyone for always supporting our kids and others.
Poetry Contest Winners
Christina Gaudio (1st place) and Ethan Gardiner (2nd place) were winners of the Danbury Cultural Commission Poetry Contest. They received their awards and cash prizes at Western CT State University on May 16. They were accompanied by their families and friends, and their sophomore English teacher
Leo Day 2019
The Abbott Tech Leo Club attended Leo Day at the Lions Club District 23 Convention on Saturday, May 4. Our club coordinated the icebreakers during the day and our Officers presented a workshop for other Leos throughout the State. We were given a lion mascot for our efforts. Jessenia Mendieta designed the winning pin for the second year in a row. It was a great day!
Senior named Rotary Club Student of the Month
Annie Rodrigues named Danbury Rotary Student of the Month. Today Annie Rodriques was honored with the Student of the Month award by the Danbury Rotary Club. Such a well-deserved award for such an amazing young woman. Please congratulate her when you see her.
