Family engagement is important at Abbott Tech. We welcome parents and family members to participate throughout the year for several evening events as well as many that take place during the school day and a few on the weekends. In addition to planned events, we invite you to call or email teachers, support staff and administrators with any questions or concerns, or simply to share an idea. We also invite you to become part of our Family Engagement Team. We meet after school on the second Wednesday of every month in the Family Engagement Center.

Our team is made up of parents, students, teachers and support staff who work together to find meaningful and fun ways for parents and families to stay involved throughout high school. We know that teens do better in school when their families are involved in their education. You will have a chance to sign up to attend monthly meetings or to participate in events at any time during the school year. Also, whenever you visit school, make sure you stop in to the Family Engagement Center, located inside the guidance suite. There are computers for you to use along with books and Resources to borrow.
